It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that we had to say goodbye to three very special senior residents in the last several weeks.
Elvis has been with us since nearly the beginning. He was a grand old gentleman and the best guy friend of Ethel. And just like the elusive star he shared his name with, Elvis was rarely seen outside of his comfy house the last few years as he aged. We will miss him so much.
Cindy came to us in 2004 as a baby; someone had killed her mother and we gave her a home and raised her here. Her sweet smile and gentle demeanor will be missed by us all.
Guido was the first pig our Director, Jan, ever rescued. He has been with her since 2001, and was the first resident of Cotton Branch Farm Animal Sanctuary. He was timid, yet kind and will never be forgotten as the pig who started it all for us.
Thank you all for making it possible for us to make sure all of the residents of Cotton Branch receive all the lifelong care and love they deserve, and can happily live out their lives in peace, tranquility, and dignity.
